High Quality Communications Network

ANDTEK’s provisioning solution increases company productivity

Munich/Hallbergmoos, February 25 – Using the provisioning solution of the unified communications specialist ANDTEK GmbH allows an automatic, easier and significantly faster modification of complex IP telephony environments. Especially major enterprises benefit from the error free installation and higher quality of administration in their communications network.

A complex communications network changes permanently. New communications devices are installed, broken ones are replaced and service parameters are modified.
A qualified administrator needs about 45 minutes to install a new IP phone with additional services in a complex network. Using ANDTEK’s provisioning solution “AND Phone Provisioning” the required time is reduced to about 5 minutes.

This works as follows: The user defines which jobs have to be carried out on a web interface e.g. the configuration of the user data of a new staff member including the requested phone number and department. The complete installation or change process is started by a mouse click. The IP phone is configured on the communications manager and additional phone applications are automatically activated on the application servers.
Therefore new users can be added quickly and all required components within the network are updated automatically. The administrator is not involved anymore and can use competence elsewhere in the company in a more effective way.

Besides time and cost savings the productivity of the network administration team increases. On top of this the solution offers an additional advantage: The quality of the communications database in the communications network is significantly increased since errors are avoided when entering information like e.g. the wrong allocation of a phone number. Predefined interfaces and services guarantee an error free handling of periodic tasks.

“AND Phone Provisioning“ is delivered for Windows or Linux and is especially designed in use with the Communications Manager, Microsoft Active Directory as well as the ANDTEK Server. However, ANDTEK is capable of integrating the provisioning solution for other software solutions as well.
